Frank Trentini Jr. founded Beacon Insurance and Investment Group, LLC on Valentine’s Day (2/14) 2000. He spent the previous ten years working first as a marketing solicitor for a health insurance agency and then split his time learning the business at Metropolitan and Prudential.

Frank received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Bridgeport in 1976 majoring in Industrial Management. His interest in insurance coupled with over thirteen years of experience in the beverage business serving as both a sales manager and general manager led him to open his own agency.

Today Beacon is a multi-line agency with special attention towards Property and Casualty (Personal & Commercial), Health (Individual & Group), and Life. Other types of insurance include investments, annuities, bonds, long term care, disability and more.

Beacon has access to over 25 Property & Casualty companies.

Roberta has over 30 years of experience in all areas of insurance including: Personal Lines (Home, Auto, Flood & Recreational products), Commercial Lines (Business Insurance), and Customer Relations.

Roberta started her career in 1975 and has been continuously licensed by the State of Connecticut Insurance Department since 1977. She attends the company seminars to keep current with their updates and changes. Roberta works closely with our clients in helping them obtain the coverage suited to their insurance needs and also advising them of new endorsements that would offer them broader coverage.

Rich has headed up the agency’s commercial lines department for the past six years after coming to the agency from an automobile underwriting position with The Hartford Insurance Group. Rich has close to twenty years of experience in the insurance industry, and has previously held positions with the Prudential Financial Services Group as well as the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. In addition, Rich has also worked in the business life insurance area helping assist business owners with such programs as business continuation coverage, “key” person coverage and executive bonus programs to name a few. He has, and currently holds the LUTCF (Life Underwriters Training Council Fellowship) designation.

In addition to holding multiple college degrees, Rich is also a graduate of The Hartford Commercial Lines School where he earned his CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist) designation. The combination of both his commercial and personal lines experience gives our clients valuable knowledge in putting together the right insurance program that fits their needs. Rich resides in Southington with his wife, Nancy.

Annette currently lives in North Branford with her husband of 20 years and her three daughters. She worked for local lawyers for the past 20 years in a bookkeeping capacity. She has had her life and health insurance license for 4 years now. It was this insurance experience that led Annette to become licensed in the property and casualty fields (both personal and commercial). She is looking forward to working with new and familiar faces in this ever changing field.
